About Tver State Medical University
Tver State Medical University was established in the year 1954. But strangely, it was founded in the year 1902 when it started as a dental polyclinic & later an institute in the city of St. Petersburg. It was in 1954 that the faculty of general medicine was started and this institute was transferred from St. Petersburg (Earlier called Leningrad) to the city of Tver (Earlier called Kalinin).
